Have you thought about wood? The classic hardwood floor
Hardwood flooring is a classic option when it comes to remodeling your home. It is are both elegant and practical as well as stands up to the test of time. It wears well and typically will increase the value of your home. And, at Carpet Village, we have an option that most of our competitors do not offer: onsite sanding and finishing.
Two options
You have two options when you pursue a hardwood floor for your home. Most commonly, the option that is chosen is the factory-finished hardwood. These products are strong and durable and the finishes used are utterly consistent from board to board as you lay them out and install them in your home.
Another option, though, is to have raw hardwood installed in your home and then have the completed floor sanded and finished onsite. The advantage of this model is that our installers can match the stain on your floor more closely to the cabinetry or trim in the home. This method will also allow you to achieve a perfectly smooth hardwood floor in your room with no small bevels between the boards.
